To identify with a flag entail ‘loyalty, commitment and responsibility’. To identify with the flag in the international fora comes with immense weight for you are the mirror of the country. At the First Global Forum on Youth Policies in Baku, Azerbaijan in October 2014, I felt the weight of the national flag- the cluttering flag was not as light as it appeared to be.
